Lansing Police: Missing Lansing woman’s body found

UPDATE: The Lansing Police say initial indications are that the body of a missing Lansing woman has been found in the Grand River.  An autopsy is scheduled to confirm that the body is Shalyn Manson, who was last seen Wednesday.  According to a news statement the Lansing Police Department does not suspect foul play.

According to the Lansing Police Department’s Facebook page, Shalyn Manson was last seen Wednesday morning near the 800 block of Moores River Drive in Lansing.

She is described as being 5’8″ tall, weighs about 140 pounds and is 45 years old.  She was wearing a long black coat, hat and boots when she was last seen.
