Local veteran to get new roof through nationwide help program

Local News

Today is a big day for U.S. Navy veteran Robert Sharon.

The Lansing man is getting a new roof this morning.

Local company “Home Pro Roofing” is teaming with Owens Corning Roofing and Habitat for Humanity Capital Region to put a new roof on Sharon’s house.

“We’re honored to be a part of this program and give back to someone right here in Lansing,” said Shannon Eifert, owner and manager of Home Pro Roofing.

It’s part of the nationwide Owens Corning  Roof Deployment program that provides new roofs for veterans in need.

The goal is to honor U.S. veterans across the country by giving back and making their lives better.

Construction on Sharon’s home starts this morning at 9:00 a.m.
