Thousands of students gather for Career Quest in Lansing

Local News

Lansing Mayor Andy Schor is hosting a career quest day at the City Center.

More than 4,000 students are attending the event to learn about different career fields in the state.

Students say the event is beneficial, as you can  get visual representation of the potential jobs.

One student told 6 News “It’s just good to see what they do at first because if you just go to stations and have people talk about it, you don’t exactly know if you’re really going to like it. With the hands-on stuff, you can actually understand what’s happening.”

The event goes until 2 pm Friday.
