Two Lansing men injured in shooting, police search for suspect

Local News

There are new details on an overnight shooting in Lansing, that sent two people to the hospital.

6 News has learned more about what lead to the shooting, on Lansing’s north side around 2:30 a.m.

According to police a man got into an argument with two other men at home on the 800 block of North Seymour Avenue.

That argument escalated into a fight and the suspect pulled out a gun,  shooting a 29-year old Lansing man in the torso and a 22-year old man, also from Lansing, in the leg.

Both victims are expected to survive.

Police tell 6 News the suspect was gone by the time officers got there, but they’re busy following up on leads this afternoon and say the shooting was not random.
