UPDATE: Lansing Police tell 6 News that a 29-year-old man was shot during a fight with another man behind El Azteco restaurant Monday afternoon. Police say the shooting was not a random act and the injuries are not life-threatening. According to a police spokesperson the victim is not offering information regarding his attacker and no arrest has been made.
ORIGINAL STORY: There are at least four Lansing Police cars and crime scene tape has been strung outside a Lansing restaurant after reports from employees that a person had been shot.
Police have not confirmed that there had been a shooting.
The officers were at the El Azteco restaurant in the 1000 block of West Saginaw Street just after 4:00 p.m.
Our 6 News reporter on the scene said a K-9 team was working the area behind the restaurant but left shortly after 5:00 p.m.
The business has not been closed during the investigation.
