UPDATE Monday 1:50 p.m. – The man Lansing Police say lead them on a chase before barricading himself in a westside home has been arraigned.
Cameron Petosky has been charged with Home Invasion 1st Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment, Weapons Discharge in a Building, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Felony Firearm.
Last Friday Petosky rab away from officers and entered a home on the 700 block of Princeton.
A person inside the house was able to get out of the home and was unhurt.
Petosky fired a handgun several times then walked out of the house and surrendered to police.
ORIGINAL STORY: A standoff between an armed man and police officers ended without injury this afternoon on Lansing’s westside.
It all began shortly after noon when an suspect in an armed robbery was spotted by police and a foot chase began near Princeton and Saginaw.
The suspect ran into a random home on Princeton Avenue and barricaded himself.
A person inside that home was able to flee the house unharmed.
Police negotiated with man, who after about an hour fired off several shots inside the house.
The suspect then walked out of the house and was arrested.
According to a police spokesperson the suspect was taken to a local hospital for a medical examination.
