In the middle of all this dangerously cold weather something happened today that will warm your heart.
Earlier Wednesday morning the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office was called to a house on M-52 near M-36 in Stockbridge.
Deputies were told there was a dog under the homeowner’s back porch and the homeowner could not get the dog to come out.
Deputies found a beagle dog under the back porch, shivering and covered in dirt and mud.
After some coaxing the dog came out from under the porch was put in a Sheriff’s vehicle to warm up.
The beagle had a collar with the phone number of the owner.
The owner was called and “Clyde”, who had been missing since September of 2018 was reunited with his people.
