UPDATE: Stolen angel statue has been found

UPDATE (WLNS):

The stolen angel statue out of Caledonia Township has been found in Flint Township.

Deputy Dave Flores helped to find the statue that was reported missing in November.

The 30-year-old male suspect admitted to stealing the statue from the victim and several other lawn ornaments from different residences in Caledonia Township.

Charges in connection to the larcenies are being sought.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a stolen angel statute from a Caledonia Township residence.

The 5’1″ white angel statue was stolen between 11 p.m. Nov. 26 and 11 a.m. Nov. 27, 2019.

The house is located north of Corrunna in Caledonia Township.

The owner has had the statue for more than 30 years.
