PARCHMENT, Mich. (WLNS) — A car ended up suspended up against a utility pole after a crash in Parchment Sunday afternoon, according to a report from our sister station WOOD TV.

It happened shortly after 4 p.m. on G Avenue near Riverview Drive, Kalamazoo County Undersheriff James VanDyken said.

The vehicle ended up in reverse and went a distance of approximately 1,000 feet from the intersection of Riverview and G Avenue backward to Keyes Drive, Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Jim VanDyken said.

VanDyken said the vehicle appeared to have mechanical problems with the brakes and possibly the transmission as well, leading to the car to being stuck in reverse.

The woman was not hurt, but she did get a ticket.

Photos of the vehicle have gone viral, according to our media partners at MLive.
