DANSVILLE, Mich. (WLNS)— Crews are on scene of a brush fire near Dansville, Michigan.

According to the 6 News team on the scene, responders arrived to the area of M-52, M-36, and Cooper road.

Crews on scene told 6 News they were filling up brush trucks with water in case they’re needed.

A police vehicle parked on Cooper Rd. is blocked the street from any passing cars.

6 News reporter Andrew Birkle is on the scene and spoke with Stockbridge Fire Chief Russ Stowe, who said roughly 50 to 60 acres burned in total. He said the situation has come to an end with the fire starting around 1:25 p.m.

There were no injuries or structural damages.

Fowlerville, Stockbridge, Williamston, Leroy and Chelsea crews came in to put the fire out.
