The Delhi Township Fire Department will provide residents with free reflective address signs on Friday, March 15 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Free Address Friday is a first-of-its-kind event taking place at the Delhi Township fire station in Holt.

“Every second is vital when we’re responding to incidents such as fires or other emergencies, and these signs help make addresses more visible, especially at night and during the winter months,” said Brian Ball, Delhi Township fire chief.

Delhi Township resident that can provide a valid driver’s license or state ID showing their street address and agree to install the address sign at the bottom of their mailbox in a timely manner will receive a free reflective address sign.

Eventually the fire department is planning to make free reflective address signs available for residents at all fire department sponsored events.
