CORRECTION: DeWitt Township Police ask everyone who came in contact with COVID-19 positive officer to monitor health symptoms

DEWITT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) — DeWitt Township Police Department is asking anyone who came into close contact with a COVID-19 positive officer to monitor their symptoms.

Close contact is defined as someone who was within 6 fee of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.

This announcement follows the Wednesday revealing that the majority of the Dewitt Township Police Department is under quarantine.
