UPDATE (11:03 P.M.) – Police have confirmed that a 57-year-old man has been shot “several” times and is in critical condition.

Police responded to reports of gunshots at Eastside Fish Fry at around 9:00 p.m.

A 30-year-old suspect was spotted by a witness fleeing the scene. The suspect was apprehended and had evidence of a crime on their person, police said.

The incident is still in the early stages of the investigation.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The Lansing Police Department is investigating an unknown incident that took place near Eastside Fish Fry on the 2400 block of East Kalamazoo Street.

Police are asking residents to avoid the area.
