There will be a lot of hot air in Jackson this weekend.
The “Hot Air Jubilee” is celebrating 36 years in the city.
It’s a 3-day event that draws in thousands of people to Ella Sharp Park every year.
25-30 balloonists will take to the skies, weather permitting.
Hot air balloon rides are not allowed for the general public.
But vendors will be there to set up a ride for a later date.
Organizers say the best times to come and see the balloons take flight are around 6:30 in the morning and 6:30 at night.
It’s important to note the weather this weekend could impact the balloons flight schedule.
