Judge blocks ban on paid rides to the polls

Lansing, Mich. (WLNS) — A District Court Judge has blocked the state law that made it a crime to hire drivers to take people to the polls.

That law was challenged by a pro-Biden Super PAC.

According to CNN, Michigan is the only state with such a law.

And as a result, it’s the only place where Uber has not offered discounted rides for voters on Election Day.
