Michigan's growing foster care crisis

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) - Every child deserves a place to call home.

Somewhere to lay their head and fall asleep at night, where they feel loved.

Unfortunately, that's not always the case.

Right now, the number of kids in foster care is growing faster than the number of families willing to take them in.

It's a problem that's forced many children into group homes.

But now, many of *those homes are at capacity.

But now,  many of those homes are at capacity.

Most of the kids, under the age of 10 and many of them are toddlers and babies.
