An Onondaga woman faces charges of murder and torture for the death of her teenage daughter.
Prosecutors charged Cari Ann Wright with felony murder, 1st degree child abuse, and torture for the November death of 16-year-old Hannah Warner.
Ingham County sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the home in Onondaga on November 17th, 2015 for a death investigation.
The warrant against the 43-year-old Wright was authorized on February 24th. Deputies, with the help of the Michigan State Police Fugitive team, arrested her today.
She remains at the Ingham County jail.
A judge denied her bond.
Wright is scheduled to be back in court on March 10th and again on March 17th, which prosecutors will begin to lay out the case against her.
