Get ready to see some bargains at discount shoe retailer Payless ShoeSource.
According to Reuters news agency, the plan is to close 2,300 stores when it files for bankruptcy this month.
There are four Payless stores in the Lansing area.
This would be the second bankruptcy in two years for the company.
Payless has been unable to find a buyer and company executives are choosing to liquidate.

In the meantime, the company is getting set to begin going-out-of-business sales, as early as next week.
