Just two months into her first term as Michigan governor, Gretchen Whitmer is getting a mixed report card.
That’s the findings of a new EPIC-MRA poll released today.
According to the poll, 40 percent of the people responding said Whitmer is doing a “Total Negative” job and 27 percent said she’s doing a “Just Fair” job helming the state.
That’s opposed to 36 percent who say she’s doing a “Total Positive” and 30 percent who say she’s doing a “Pretty Good” job.
That’s rating her job performance.
It’s another story when asked if they have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of the governor.
43 percent of the respondents said they have a “Total Favor” opinion and 16 percent have a “Very Favor” opinion of Whitmer.
Overall, 44 percent of the people polled say Michigan is heading in the right direction with 33 percent believing the state is on the wrong track.
