ORIGINAL STORY: According to well-placed sources, Michigan basketball coach John Beilein has reportedly accepted the job as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Beilein has been the head coach at Michigan since 2007.
Just last year he signed a new deal to coach through the 2022-23 year.
This is not the first time Beilein has flirted with the NBA.
Last year he was in the running for the head coaching job with the Detroit Pistons before signing the contract extension with Michigan.
Beilein has a career record of 571-325 including a 278-150 record for the Wolverines.
