ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WLNS) – Democratic supporters in Michigan are getting ready to welcome Senator and Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine to Ann Arbor today.
The Senator will lead a rally for Hillary Clinton and other democratic nominees at the University of Michigan Diag at noon.
Afterward Kaine is expected to attend an organizing event in Ohio.
Both Michigan and the Buckeye state are considered battlegrounds in this election and have gotten more attention than usual from both major parties.
Clinton canceled several appearances Monday to rest and recover from what her doctor says was pneumonia.
Her next scheduled appearance is on television Wednesday but she is not planning to make another appearance in person until Saturday in Washington D.C.
