Today is the official kick-off to “It’s On Us” Week of Action which shows support to survivors of sexual assault.
The week is marked by dressing in teal and a series of events will be taking place on the MSU campus.
Several student organizations and campus programs have partnered with the Prevention, Outreach and Education Department to plan, coordinate and support the week of events.
Keynote speaker Gail Stern is scheduled to speak on April 4th from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. as well as 5:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Stern is an author that will present a series focused on the foundations of rape culture.
“It’s On Us” started in 2014 by the White House to assist universities across the country in taking a stand against sexual violence.
