EAST LANSING, MICH. (WLNS)– The College of Veterinary Medicine’s laboratory at MSU is now a running COVID-19 tests, and providing results.
Those samples are given to the lab from testing sights across the university.
This lab is usually used to identify diseases within animals and on average can perform one million tests a year, on approximately 300,000 animals.
The university says the lab now has the capacity to analyze 1,000 COVID-19 tests a day.
Results are usually available within 24 hours.
