(WLNS) – Communicating with other drivers on the roads could get a lot easier if lawmakers jump on board legislation being announced today by U.S. Senator Gary Peters.
It is called “Vehicle to Infrastructure” technology and Senator Peters says it allows cars to communicate with one another wirelessly through their vehicles.
According to Peters, the system has the potential to dramatically reduce traffic accidents and traffic congestion by allowing vehicles to communicate and recognize dangers far beyond the eyesight of the driver.
Peters says this will save lives.
Stay with 6, we will know more about this technology later on today.
