POLL: President Donald Trump getting split favorability in Michigan


The leader of the free world created a split reaction in Michigan according to an EPIC-MRA statewide poll released today.

According to the poll, in terms of job performance 58 percent of the people responding said Trump is doing a “Total Negative” job and 12 percent said he’s doing a  “Just Fair” job as President.

That’s opposed to 40 percent who say he’s doing a “Total Positive” and 20 percent who say he’s doing a  “Pretty Good” job.

The results look similar in terms of favorability, 55 percent said they have a “Total Unfavorable” opinion and 46 percent said they have a “Very Unfavorable” opinion of the President while 40 percent of the respondents said they have a “Total Favorable” opinion and 26 percent have a “Very Favorable” opinion of Trump.

Overall, 52 percent of the people polled say the country is heading in the wrong track with 36 percent believing the country is going in the right direction.

If the election were held today 49 percent of survey responders said they would vote to replace Trump, 16 percent would consider voting for someone else, and 31 percent would vote to reelect the President.

The sample group varied from 38 percent describing themselves as conservative, 32 percent moderate, and 22 percent liberal. In terms of political party 43 percent consider themselves total Democrat, 12 percent Independent, and 42 percent total Republican.

The poll has a potential 4 percent plus or minus error according to EPIC-MRA and was conducted between March 3rd and March 7th of this year.
