Purdue was in the driver seat to take the regular season championship for the Big 10, but after the loss to the Golden Gophers tonight all eyes are on the Spartans for this Saturdays game against interstate rivals the University of Michigan Wolverines in East Lansing.

The Spartans beat the Cornhuskers tonight 91-76 with Kenny Goins scored a career-high 24 points while Matt McQuaid had a career-best 22 along with freshman Aaron Henry who scored a season-high of 15 points. Henry played the way coach Tom Izzo hopes he can for the rest of the season after replacing Joshua Langford, who had season-ending foot surgery.

The Purdue loss ties the Boilermakers, Michigan, and Michigan State with a regular season record of 15-4 which means the winner of the Michigan vs. Michigan State game shares the title with Purdue if they beat Northwestern otherwise it will be an outright grab for all the glory on March 9th at 8:00 PM.
