LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State University Police and Public Safety were asking drivers to avoid Service Rd. west of Farm Ln. due to a sinkhole in the road Wednesday night.

Early Thursday morning half of the road remained closed with traffic cones and orange fencing around the sinkhole.
By 9:45 Thursday morning MSU Public Safety said the sinkhole had been temporarily fixed and the road was reopened.
