Skubick: MI attorney general’s home “attacked” by mob

MIDLAND, Mich (WLNS) – The state attorney general’s home in Midland was reportedly attacked by a “mob of about 40 people” this afternoon.

According to 6 News Capitol correspondent Tim Skubick they pounded on the windows and the doors for about thirty minutes.

The statement from Bill Schuette’s office says the mob defaced the home, and threw unknown substances over the house and driveway.

According to Schuette’s office there were no arrests.

The attorney general’s wife was alone in the home at the time.

It appears this was related to the Pipeline 5 in the Straits of Mackinac.

The attorney general’s office believes these were out of state protestors trying to “intimidate and bully” the Schuette family.
