HOWELL, Mich. (WLNS) – The movie “Field of Dreams” is considered by some to be one of the great baseball-related movies ever made.
Our media partners at WHMI report that Thursday dozens of people attended a special screening of “Field of Dreams” and enjoyed a half-hour Q&A with one of the film’s stars.
Timothy Busfield, a Michigan native and Livingston County resident, acted in the film alongside Kevin Costner. Busfield talked about the efforts that went into making the film, including sharing how the film makers had to keep the cornfield alive in the middle of a crippling drought that was killing crops in the area.
The film will be shown at the historic Howell Theater all this week and Busfield will be back for the 7pm showing of Field of Dreams on Saturday for another Q&A session. On Sunday, fathers can attend the film for free at all three showings.
