Celebrate syrup this Saturday at the 49th-annual Sugarbush Festival at the Blandford Nature Center in Grand Rapids.
Watch Sugarbush demonstrations to learn about the maple sugaring process and techniques. Take a taste test in the Sugarhouse.
Tribal members from the The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe will be present with hand drumming, songs, storytelling, and Anishinabek language lessons.
Enjoy activities throughout the event such as wildlife encounters, draft horses, maple cotton candy, games, crafts, and more.
The Printmobile will be doing screen printing of Blandford Nature Center designs.
Books & Mortar will have plenty of books to sell.
El Caribe Food Truck and Doughrunts will be on-site selling concessions.
The event is from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Tickets are $5 for Blandford Nature Center members and $8 for non-members while children 2 and younger can enter for free.
