UPDATE (11:49 a.m.): Prosecutors have charged Aaron Ross for the murder of Hanna Barron in Lansing last week.
The 20-year-old Lansing man faces charges of open murder, carrying a concealed weapon, a felony firearms charge, and assault with intent to murder.
A judge ordered him held without bond. He’s set to be back in court in the next two weeks.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police have arrested a suspect in the case of a person who shot two people, killing one of them, last week.
The shooting happened in south-west Lansing on Thursday. Two people were shot, and one of them, 19-year-old Hanna Barron, later died.
Police identified a suspect and the Eaton County prosecutor issued warrants for that person’s arrest.
Officers found the person Monday night in south Lansing.
That person is currently in the Eaton County jail and will be formally charged later this afternoon.
