Suspect Tripped Up After Foot Chase

(WLNS) – There’s a price to pay for fashion.

During a routine patrol an Ingham County Sheriff’s Delhi Division deputy spotted someone he suspected was driving on a suspended license and had outstanding warrants. The deputy pulled the driver over on Aurelius Road near Davlind Drive.

That’s when things heated up. The suspect bolted from the car with the deputy in hot pursuit. The foot chase was on but came to a sudden end when the suspect’s pants fell around his ankles.

The deputy put the suspect in cuffs, arrested on the outstanding warrants. New charges of operating a vehicle on a suspended license and resisting an officer were added to the list of warrants. No word on if an indecent exposure charge was added.
