CLARKSTON, Mich. (AP/WLNS) – DTE Energy Music Theatre in suburban Detroit will have walkthrough metal detectors throughout the summer.

Our media partners at MLive say the venue in Clarkston announced it will use the detectors at entrances. Attendees will not be asked to take off belts or shoes.

Metal detectors will continue to be used for concerts and sporting events at The Palace of Auburn Hills, which is the home arena of the Detroit Pistons.
