This Morning: Get sticky at Fenner Nature Center this weekend during Maple Syrup Festival


If you’re looking for a chance to get sticky this weekend, then you might want to head over to Fenner Nature Center in Lansing.

This Saturday marks one of the sweetest days on the calendar as community members celebrate Fenner Nature Center’s annual “Maple Syrup Festival.”

The event will kick off at 11AM Saturday, March 16 and run until 5PM.

Visitors will have the chance to learn how sap is turned into sweet treats like syrup, maple creme, and candy.

Along with the festival, breakfast will also be served.

Starting at 11AM – 4PM visitors can take advantage of all you can eat pancakes, sausage, and of course maple syrup.

Tickets for the breakfast are $8 and the proceeds go toward Fenner Nature Center.
