This Morning: Report ranks Okemos High School number 11 in Michigan

According to a new U.S. News & World Report, Okemos High School is now listed as one of the best high schools in the state of Michigan.

It made it into the top 15 of 650 other ranked Michigan schools.

Okemos High School ranked number 11.

The report looks at several factors such as it’s performance on state required tests, graduation rates, and how well students are prepared for college.

Breaking down Okemos High School’s score card, the report shows 58% of students have taken at least one AP Exam with 95% passing.

It also shows high scores in both reading and math with the school overall scoring a 97.55 out of 100.

We are thrilled to see Okemos High School ranked as one of the top high schools in Michigan. We celebrate and share this recognition with our hardworking students, supportive families, and professional staff (pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade), who continually pursue our shared mission of, “Together… educating with excellence, inspiring learners for life.” 

Other mid-Michigan high schools on the list include Haslett High School ranked at 24.

East Lansing High School ranked at 28.

Mason High School ranked at 155.

Jackson High School ranked at 346.
