Many mid-Michigan paramedics now have a high-tech tool at their disposal to help when someone’s heart has stopped.
It’s called the “Lucas Chest Compression” device, and it’s a quick, reliable, and consistent way to perform chest compressions on a patient, allowing first responders to focus on other important things during an emergency situation.
For this week’s “Tell Me Something Good,” Chivon Kloepfer visited the Meridian Township Fire Department for an up close look at how it works.
