More people die of lung cancer than of colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined.
So, it was very exciting when Michigan State University researchers discovered a mutation that they say, could be the key to helping thousands of people diagnosed with lung cancer every year.
The discovery came while scientists were looking at breast cancer tumors.
Chivon Kloepfer went inside the lab on MSU’s campus where the discovery happened and learned more for this week’s “Tell Me Something Good” report.
