Two injured after semi truck overturns

News

East Lansing police say two people were injured after a semi truck overturned early Saturday.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Saginaw Street near Coolidge Road.

East Lansing police say the driver of the semi swerved to avoid another car, and the truck flipped onto its side.

The driver of the semi, as well as a passenger in the second vehicle, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Police are still investigating. Saginaw Street was closed for several hours while crews cleaned up, but it has since reopened.
