On Tuesday, April 30th at 5:20 am the City of Jackson Police and Fire Department responded to a call about a structure fire and explosive noises.
When they arrived, they found a car on fire, lodged into a house.
The incident is being investigated as an arson.
The City of Jackson Police Department is looking for the driver, who they said left the scene on foot.
The explosive noises were caused by a product in the car, but the product name has not been released.
The home was unoccupied, but undergoing renovations at the time the incident occurred.
