UPDATE 2:23 p.m. – According to the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office the outages may have been caused by a grass fire that is burning in the area. Power is estimated to be restored by 6:00 p.m. As of 2:23 p.m. an estimated 3,000 people are without power.
(WLNS) – Crews are working to restore power for thousands of people in Eaton County this afternoon. Power was out for people in two separate areas in the Potterville and Charlotte areas.
Consumers Energy repair crews are working on finding the cause of the outage. There are no estimates on when power will be restored.
