UPDATE (11:30 a.m.) – The shelter in place order that was put in place at three Grand Ledge schools has ended.  According to Grand Ledge Police there is no longer a threat.

Security has been increased at three schools in Grand Ledge after a threat was made inside the high school.

Grand Ledge High School, Neff Kindergarten Center and Beagle Elementary are currently in a “shelter in place” security mode as police investigate.

The district says that a threat was found written on a bathroom wall inside the high school. Security was increased at the two other buildings because they are very close to the high school.

We’ll have much more on this developing story throughout the day.
