Vaccinations In the Spotlight Tonight At LCC

(WLNS) – To vaccinate or not is a hotly debated subject these days. There are a growing number of misperceptions about immunization that have sparked a national debate in recent months.

Tonight at Lansing Community College that will be the subject of a public health talk led by Dr. Dean Sienko, formerly with the Ingham County Health Department.

Dr. Sienko will be speaking on “Should we be vaccinated?” at 5:30pm at Lansing Community College. The talk will be held in the Health and Human Services Building Room 5.

Vaccines are among the most effective ways to prevent serious disease at any age. There are a growing number of misperceptions about immunization that have sparked a national debate about public health. Dr. Sienko will focus on the facts of vaccines and the importance of immunization from infancy to aging.

The talk is free and open to the public.
