Police officers in Sao Paulo saved a choking infant on Monday and the rescue attempts were caught on the station’s surveillance footage.
The dramatic footage was released by Military Police of Sao Paulo State and showed police officers Taroco and Thiago attempting to revive the infant who had stopped breathing, after a man came into the station with the newborn.
The police officers attempted the Heimlich maneuver on the 21-day-old Henrique, witnessed by the two anxious guardians.
After the baby showed positive signs from the police’s attempts, he was sent to receive medical attention and has since been well, said the police in their Facebook post.
