Investigators are searching for a man who they say attempted to hold up a convenience store in Oregon last month.
It happened around 1:00 a.m. on April 28.
But there’s a twist…
Investigators say when the suspect pulled out a 12-inch hatchet, the clerk turned the tables on him – and pulled out a handgun!
The suspect got on his knees, put his hands in the air…then apologized. He left the store a short time later.
No one was hurt.
The hatchet was left at the scene.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s office uploaded the surveillance video to social media and encouraged the suspect to come forward so they could reunite him with his hatchet.
