The Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery Visitor Center is offering a wildlife photography class on April 27th from 8:00 AM to noon.

The class is designed for those with little or no experience in wildlife photography by introducing photography basics and equipment rentals. The class also includes lessons on how to photograph wildlife as well as managing and editing photographs.

The Introduction to Wildlife Photography class costs $10 and is open for participants 16-years-old or older.

The Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery also offers 30 minute tours where kids can look at an incubator of fish eggs and discover how the Michigan DNR raises millions of fish every year to stock Michigan waters.

Spring tours throughout April and May are on Saturdays at 10:00 AM, noon, and 2:00 PM as well as Sundays at noon and 2:00 PM.

Other family fun activities include seeing and feeding a variety of fish species as well as scavenger hunts and hiking.
