Woman hospitalized after Lansing stabbing; suspect arrested

Lansing police say a woman is in the hospital after she was stabbed by a relative early Sunday.

The incident happened at 4:37 a.m. in the 600 block of Vernon Avenue.

Lansing police tell 6 News the victim is a 21-year-old Lansing woman. She was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The suspect, a 31-year-old woman, was arrested. Police say the victim and suspect are related.
