‘American Idol’ winner crowned on star-studded finale: How to watch, livestream without cable

This won’t be your conventional “American Idol” finale due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it will be full of star-studded performances, they just won’t be performing on the same stage. This as the final 7 learn their fate. Who will win between Jonny West, Arthur Gunn, Dillon James, Francisco Martin, Julia Gargano, Just Sam and Louis Knight?

HOW TO WATCH: The two-hour finale is on at 8 p.m. on ABC and via livestream on Hulu Live TV where you can also catch up on back episodes of your favorite shows.

The “Idol” finale will kick off following America’s last nationwide vote with two contestants being eliminated. The top 5 will each perform two songs. The first song will celebrate their induction into the Top 5, the second will be a previously performed song and their new official “American Idol” single.

Celebrity performances on the finale:

  • Cynthia Erivo and the top 11 to perform a medley of Aretha Franklin songs
  • Lauren Daigle and the top 5 to perform “You Say.”
  • Rascal Flatts and Doug Kiker perform “Bless The Broken Road”
  • Luke Bryan will perform his new single “One Margarita”
  • Katy Perry will perform her new single “Daisies”
  • Lionel Richie will perform “We are the World” joined by Idol judges and members of the “American Idol” family, including Alejandro Aranda aka Scarypoolparty, Fantasia Taylor, Gabby Barrett, Jordin Sparks, Katharine McPhee, Kellie Pickler, Laine Hardy, Lauren Alaina, Phillip Phillips, Ruben Studdard and Scotty McCreery.
